The program is designed to offer a balance of design insight, industry perspective, and time to experience the Netherlands. Guests will spend time with the leadership, design, and engineering teams at Maars Living Walls, gain an inside look at their manufacturing process, and see how their systems perform in real-world applications.
Alongside these professional insights, the experience includes opportunities to explore the architecture, culture, and design heritage of the Netherlands, creating space for meaningful conversations and connections throughout the week.Inside the ExperienceArrival & Exploration
Guests will arrive in Amsterdam and settle into the hotel before having time to explore the city at their own pace. Optional hosted activities may be available for those interested in experiencing the architecture, canals, and vibrant neighborhoods that define the city.
Inside Maars
A dedicated day will be spent at the Maars Living Walls headquarters, where guests will gain a behind-the-scenes look at the company’s approach to design, engineering, and manufacturing. The experience includes time with leadership and product teams, a guided visit through the showroom and production environment, and opportunities to better understand how Maars systems are developed and assembled.
Projects in Practice
The day will feature guided tours of several Maars projects, offering insight into how the systems perform in real-world applications. Project selections will be finalized based on location to ensure a seamless flow. Lunch will be hosted depending on the tour route, followed by free time for independent exploration. The evening concludes with a group dinner in Amsterdam, providing an opportunity to reflect on the day’s insights and continue conversations in a relaxed setting.
Dutch Design & Culture
The experience also includes opportunities to enjoy the culture and design heritage of the Netherlands. Guests may take part in activities such as exploring Amsterdam’s historic canals or experiencing the surrounding landscape, with time built in for independent exploration and shared gatherings.
Departure
Following a final morning in Amsterdam, guests will transfer to Schiphol Airport for departure, returning home with new insights into Maars innovation and connections formed throughout the experience.
